New Zealand home made from a dozen old shipping containers

Talk about upcycling! Check out this fantastic New Zealand home constructed out of shipping containers. The home was built by David Wade and has six bedrooms, three bathrooms, a separate cottage, a pool, and space for six cars.

The interior features tall ceilings and an industrial look from the shipping container corrugation.

The pool is an infinity pool with a great view of the green New Zealand countryside.

From a distance, you could hardly tell this home was built from shipping containers.

But inside, the containers bring some major character to the home. Some of the container doors are still functioning as doors inside the home.

There is even a double staircase connecting the two floors of the home!
